Warwick Research Excellence showcases the research expertise and facilities available within the University of Warwick. It seeks to aid communication with business locally, regionally and nationally, making it easier to find out about and gain access to the full range of what Warwick has to offer - including applied research, technology and knowledge development, expertise in continuing professional development, the licensing of intellectual property and consultancy.
In addition, the portal aims at improving the experience of applying for a research degree at Warwick by allowing potential postgraduate students to access information on funding opportunities and to search for academic supervisors working within their area of interest.
The portal represents a pilot project for the expertise concept in the West Midlands and if successful Warwick will be joined by other HEIs in the region, allowing businesses and collaborators around the world a gateway to the outstanding research excellence available from the West Midlands region.
